Sandusky Rotary Individual Membership Plan
What is it?
A prospective individual is asked to attend Sandusky Rotary meetings and consider becoming an active member of the Sandusky Rotary Club by a sponsoring Rotarian. He or she will go through the currently established membership approval process. New members ensure club growth, provide new ideas and resources, and enhance the opportunity for future leaders.
Benefits of an Individual Membership
The goal is to grow the Sandusky Rotary Club. This new member will broaden, enrich, and increase the size, depth, and diversity of our Sandusky Rotary Club membership. Active members are encouraged to participate in all club activities, serve on club projects, vote on club matters, serve as club officers, and be on club committees.

The active, individual member will bring to the club new ideas, connections, and an enhanced opportunity for teamwork.
Individual Membership Nomination Process
You can become a Rotarian in Sandusky Rotary Club through the existing member approval process. Please complete the application and give to the Club Secretary who will bring it to the Board for review and then Club for approval.
Meetings: The three meetings/events requirement will be necessary in order to become an active member of the Sandusky Rotary.
Sponsor : Your Sponsor is an active member of the Sandusky Rotary Club.
Inductions: The prospective individual will be formally inducted into the club as an active member, and provided with a packet of materials, including a new member pin and badge.
Attendance
Rotarians are encouraged to attend their local club meetings as well as participate in service projects and events. They are also encouraged to become familiar with, attend, and engaged in district and international service and event opportunities.
Rotary International, District Dues and Local Dues
Part of the financial obligation of a Rotarian is to pay the Rotary International, District, and Local dues in full along with other fees requested by the local club (See financial sheet).
Receipt of the Rotarian or Rotary Regional Magazine
An active, individual Rotarian will receive the Rotary Magazine entitled, The Rotarian, during the year. This will enable Rotarians to become familiar with various events and activities sponsored by Rotary.
Public Liability Coverage
The active, individual member will be included in the Sandusky Rotary Club liability insurance plan while participating in any approved club activity or project, if applicable.
